Drew just told me that they announced today that the WA state senate has enough ( 25 ) yes votes to pass gay marriage when they bring it to a vote. Since the Guv has has already said she will support it and sign it into law if it passes, it looks like we might be become the 8th ( I think it's 7 now ) state to legalize gay marriage! Whoo hoo! He also just told me he thinks we should GET married if they do...which was sort of a romantic event in my life...he didn't exactly propose, but its' close enough LOL. Gee...after only 16 years ( in 3 weeks ) of dating, co-habitating, and loving, we're engaged! What's even nicer about the whole thing is that its' a senator from our
own county who said she has to support it and became the 25th! Yay Kitsap!
